Basketball T3

Term 3 Week 4, majority of Team Tui took part in a basketball tournament, as part of the Tamaki cluster. There were more than 10 teams, attending from other schools within the Manaiakalani cluster. This experience helped develop my skills of basketball and it was an awesome moment. We challenged 3 teams on the day. Teams from Tamaki Primary, Glen Brae and Sylvia Park. We all had a great experience and lots of fun and we were undefeated. The highest score for us that day was 56 – 9. How cool is that?! Something I learnt on this day was the most important skill to have, and thats TEAM WORK, and emphasising on the importance of communication.

Vocab Pyramids

This weeks must do task for reading was an activity based on our vocab. This activity helped me alot. At first the word epitomy, I was unsure of what the diffenition of this word could be but during this task I was able to understand exactly what it meant. We had many different words based out of our school values. Words such as fun, integrity, respect and so forth. I manage to finish this task on time before morning tea.

Cybersmart – Doing the Right thing on Google Meets

W3 cybersmart task was based on doing the right thing on google meet. Google meet is a site where you can group call on. Its a site where you can communicate with others using face cam. Further example we use google meets every lockdown due to covid. It has been very easy to use. Many people take this oppurtunity for granted. We make sure to turn our cams on at all times to avoid not paying attention. If students turn their cameras off we wont be able to tell if their paying close attention. It is important to do the right thing during google meets.
